Messi's night in The Classico 2017 :: La Liga is on Fire ::

In a match for the ages, Barcelona beat rival Real Madrid 3-2 on the road on Sunday in El Clasico to move into first place on goal differential, with Lionel Messi scoring twice, including the winner in the 92nd minute against the 10-men hosts.

After going down 1-0, Barca responded to take a 2-1 lead before James Rodriguez's late goal made it look like the two giants with exit with a point a piece. But that wasn't all as Barca's desperation attempt on the counter produced a strike from Messi that will go down as one of his biggest in his career.

 Though it ended well for Barca, it didn't start well. In 28 min  Casemiro made it 1-0 , With all of the momentum, Real couldn't keep Barca out as Messi responded five minutes later with this golazo ,
The goalkeepers then went back and forth with brilliant save after brilliant save until Ivan Rakitic scored another big goal in another big match for the Catalans, making it 2-1 in the 73rd minute, Sergio Ramos then received a red card for a horrible challenge on Messi four minutes later, and Real looked doomed down a man , But James came off the bench and delivered in the 85th, leaving Jordi Alba behind by running front post and scoring , But, it was not over. Messi scored his 500th career goal for Barca at the death to give the visitors all three points .

Anything short of a win for Barca would have been a disappointment, but Messi stepped up on one of the biggest stages and delivered a result Barca fans won't soon forget, and one that blows the race in La Liga wide open.
